What if... you actually went for it?

I asked myself that question in August 2021 when I realized I didn’t see myself working for an employer for the rest of my life. I haven’t regretted it for a moment, though I’ll be the first to admit that the switch from employee to entrepreneur isn’t always easy. From my own experience, I now know that fulfillment, joy, and energy far outweigh the challenges that come with it.

I now coach other women, just like me, who can’t shake the dream of entrepreneurship. Would I have known this five years ago? Absolutely not. Would I be here today if I hadn’t gone for it? Absolutely not.

If you recognize yourself in my story, then you’re in the right place.

If you keep doing what you are doing, what will your life be like in one year from now?
And is that what you really want?

I soon knew that I wanted something different.

After almost reaching burnout during my master’s program, I decided to move abroad for a fresh start. Everything’s better under the Spanish sun, right?

I began my marketing career in Barcelona, but I quickly realized I didn’t want to spend my days behind a laptop making money for a big company. After three and a half years, I quit my job to pursue what truly energizes me. Of course, this didn’t happen overnight, but by taking small steps and listening to my intuition, I made it happen.

Now I coach aspiring female entrepreneurs, helping them turn their passion and expertise into a business that brings them satisfaction, joy, and financial success. And wow, this is so much more rewarding than working for a big corporate.

I’m also a proud dog mom and can do some pretty cool tricks on my inline skates. I love reading about everything from reptiles to history to black holes. I’m the type to get up early to watch the sunrise, and I like to do things a little differently than most people.

I see too many women not following their heart and settling for less.

And I think that's a shame! I know how that itch and curiosity for entrepreneurship feels and I can tell you, that feeling only goes away when you decide to do something with it.

(Online) entrepreneurship is fantastic and there are so many possibilities. At the same time, it is also a challenge, especially if you come from an employer. How do you stand out in a crowded market? What services are you going to offer? Which customers are you going to focus on? Oh, and do you need a website? How do I even tackle all this?

As a business coach & consultant I am happy to guide you in this process. So that you too can build the business that really suits you.

Got such nice tools to work with 🙏🏻 The balance between theory and making it concrete right away by writing down your goals and intentions is very useful. Now I U understand better how consciously determining goals and intentions can help you. I am not busy with the intentions that have been drawn up on a weekly or monthly basis, but sometimes I look back in the booklet where I wrote everything down. It is valuable in this way to be able to go back to the agreements you made with yourself and to see how over time some things take shape as you wished them to be. Purely because you make more conscious choices in your behavior.”

I thought it was a very nice session, really an awareness process. I now understand that I don't have to change everything at once. You made me aware of that in a very pleasant and familiar way. Some things I secretly knew a bit, but by being so conscious about it I realize that hiding away is not good at all.

It was valuable for me to have someone to support me to work on myself, to stimulate thoughts and self-reflection and to really listen. My main take-aways after working with Antoinette for 6 weeks: acknowledging and telling myself more that I'm already doing well, small steps are the way to go (+ acknowledge them as achievements), feel heard & not alone (as we share many experiences/traumas). You were super involved and your energy motivates & radiators!
